1950's Glitz & Glamour

(Above) 1950's Polaroid Land Camera. Aren't cameras so damn boring these days?? Proud to say I own one similar to this.
(Above)To me, this photo epitomizes 1950's elegant glamour. So classy & sophisticated! You see, a woman can still be beautiful without flaunting her butt 'n' boobies!
(Above) This is my 1950's Hollywood movie star photo. This photo encapsulates the damn good looks of the actors and actresses of that time ( alsoscroll down for James Dean.) Doesn't she look like someone you would invite over to your parent's house for dinner? Caviar anyone?
(Above) Need I even tell you who this is? Nah. I love this photo of her because she looks close to how I would look in a bathing suit, yet she still is a sex symbol! They say she was a size 12! Celebrities now-a-days are known to range from sizes 0-2!
(Above) This would be me if I was a woman living in the 1950's. Well....mainly because of the turntable in the middle of the kitchen. Except this day in age I just use the boring ol' computer for my tunes and set it up on the dining table.
(Above) James Dean. Hollywood actors and actresses seemed and looked somewhat normal!
(Above) The jukebox. Pure awesomeness! What the hell happened to the jukebox?! The world has become so much more boring without them! There is just something so exciting about being able to scroll thru the music menu and dictate the music being played in the restaurant, bar, cafe you are hanging at!
(Above) I'm not the supreme Elvis Presley fan, yet there is something about the King that I find intriguing. Maybe because he compared woman to Hound Dogs and did that awesome smirk & head tick every time he sang? Regardless what I think, he still holds his title and fame as if he were still with us today.
(Above) Bettie Page. She had cute hair during her time, but this is someone I think has done more harm then good for our future generations. Why? Bettie Page bangs. Those things should have gone when she did. Enough said.
(Above) I'm not going to write a commentary on Breakfast At Tiffany's. There is def. alot of iconic aspects to that film (ie Audrey Hepburn, Tiffany's, etc.) Yet, I find the movie plain annoying and overrated (please do not send me hate mail about this.) I included this photo simply because of the hype that goes along with the movie. And for those of you (or nobody) that are fans just so you could say "Yay" when you see it. Ok, and the picture is pretty cool. Won't deny that.

wow! this blog is getting worse and worse! YAY for that!
